SES Hospedajes Setup Guide
This guide walks you through the full process of registering on SES Hospedajes and obtaining the credentials Autoregistro needs to submit guest data on your behalf.
Before you start
- You need a digital certificate (certificado digital) or electronic DNI (DNIe). You will only need it for this initial setup in SES Hospedajes — after that, it is no longer required.
- Install the Autofirm@ software on your computer — it is required to digitally sign the registration request for your establishment.
- If you are a property manager (gestor), you are the one who registers. If the owner manages the property directly, the owner registers.
- The full process typically takes 2–3 days until SES provides your credentials.
Step 1 — Register on the platform
- Go to the SES Hospedajes portal.
- Click "Acceso al registro de establecimientos y entidades" and choose your login method (digital certificate or DNIe).
- Click "Registro", then click "Rellenar formulario" to register a new establishment.
Step 2 — Fill in your entity details and enable web service
- Complete the entity information form with your personal or company details.
- In the form, select "envío de comunicaciones por servicio web" (or "webservice"). This is critical — it enables the API connection that Autoregistro uses to submit guest data on your behalf.
If you do not select the "servicio web" option, Autoregistro will not be able to submit data for you. Make sure this is enabled.
Step 3 — Add your establishment(s)
- Fill in all the fields for your property: type of establishment, address, capacity, etc.
- Click "Añadir a la lista" to add the establishment.
- Repeat this process as many times as needed to register all the establishments you want.
- Once you have added all your establishments, submit the form.
Step 4 — Receive your credentials
- After registration is complete, you will receive an email from [email protected].
- This username and password are generated by the SES Hospedajes system and are used to connect with Autoregistro. They are different from the username and password you use to log in to the SES website.
- You will now have two separate sets of credentials:
- SES dashboard credentials — for logging into the SES Hospedajes website. Example: username 12345678Z, password MyPassword. These are NOT used in Autoregistro.
- Web service credentials — for the API connection. Example: username 12345678ZWS, password SESGeneratedPassword. These are the ones you enter in Autoregistro.
- Enter the web service username and password in the "SES username" and "SES password" fields when adding your property in Autoregistro.
If all your properties are under the same arrendador account, the web service credentials are shared across them. If you are a property manager (gestor), credentials may vary per property.
Looking up your codes
- Log in to the SES Hospedajes portal with your dashboard credentials or digital certificate.
- To find your Código de Establecimiento: look for "Consultar código de establecimiento". If you have multiple properties, select the correct one from the dropdown.
- To find your Código de Arrendador: look for "Consultar código de arrendador".
- Copy these codes — you will need them when adding a property in Autoregistro.
Each property has a unique Código de Establecimiento. The Código de Arrendador is shared across all your properties.
Resetting your web service password
- Log in to the SES Hospedajes portal with your dashboard credentials or digital certificate.
- Look for "Recuperar o modificar contraseña servicio web".
- If you have multiple entities, select the correct one from the dropdown.
- Enter your new password and click "Guardar". The system will confirm with "¡Contraseña cambiada!".
- Update the password in your Autoregistro property settings to keep submissions working.

What is SES Hospedajes and who has to use it?
SES Hospedajes is the Spanish Ministry of the Interior platform where tourist accommodation reports guest data (Royal Decree 933/2021). Hotels, tourist apartments, holiday homes, campsites and any paid accommodation must use it, except in Catalonia and the Basque Country, which run their own systems (Mossos d'Esquadra and Ertzaintza).
How long does SES Hospedajes registration take?
The form takes about 15 minutes if you have a digital certificate or DNIe and Autofirm@. The Ministry usually emails the web service credentials 2 to 3 working days later.
What is the difference between portal and web service credentials?
Portal credentials (username like 12345678Z) log you into the SES Hospedajes website. Web service credentials (username ending in WS, e.g. 12345678ZWS) are what apps like Autoregistro use to submit reports on your behalf. They only exist if you ticked the web service box when registering the establishment; if not, you can enable it afterwards.
What are the landlord code and establishment code?
The landlord code (código de arrendador) identifies the owner or company and is the same for all their properties. The establishment code (código de establecimiento) identifies each accommodation and is different for each one. Both can be looked up inside the SES Hospedajes portal and are entered once when adding the property in Autoregistro.
What is the deadline to submit the traveller report?
The check-in report must be submitted within 24 hours of the guest's arrival. With Autoregistro the guest fills in their details on their phone and the report is sent to SES automatically as soon as they finish.
Can I submit reports without a digital certificate?
Yes. The certificate is only needed for the initial establishment registration. Once you have web service credentials, Autoregistro submits reports without you using the certificate or Cl@ve again.
Already registered your property but didn't tick the web service box? You can still enable it and get your WS credentials.
